What is Expert Product Card Issuing?
As an Expert Product Card Issuing, you will play a crucial role in ensuring sprint planning and timely deliverables. Your responsibilities will involve engaging with multiple stakeholders to ensure innovation, smooth operations and processing and exponential growth in the card issuance portfolio. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will ensure that usage on cards issued is increasing & cards become the preferred payment instrument for the customers. Your focus on meticulous organization and coordination will be instrumental in driving product and growth initiatives & your customer obsession and data driven approach will be the key to success.
This position reports to the Head of Product – Payments & Platforms at JazzCash.
What does Expert Product Card Issuing do?
- Define vision of Card Issuing product and deliver on its strategy
- Manage the complete Card issuing product. You will oversee the payment lifecycle end to end:
- Working and negotiating with the international and domestic card schemes
- Leading developments and integrations with payment processors
- Leading complete portfolio managing, from card issuance to activation & driving usage
- Determine the right prioritization using mostly quantitative (and to some degree qualitative) insights
- Identify ongoing scalability and operational improvements to set the product up for success in this high growth industry
- Identify new opportunities and take a segmented approach to cater to different customers with unique yet targeted value propositions
- Ensure that Jazzcash Card Issuing product is right up there with the global best practices, solutions, product offering and innovation
- Establish metrics, processes, and dashboards for monitoring and evaluation of the success of new and existing functionality

Requirements:
What are we looking for and what does it require to be Expert Product Card Issuing?
- 3-5 years of experience working as a product manager in card issuing business
- Deep understanding of payment processing & working together with Visa & Mastercard (preferably experience on the issuing side)
- Ability to gather insights, conduct market research, and perform competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
- Ensuring faster market penetration & growth – resulting in greater volumes processed through our platforms.
- Ability to apply data driven mindset, technical background and UX approach and to create the best possible experience for the end customers.
