What is Expert Jazz Spark?
The Jazz Spark team is a new business unit in the Data & Strategy division that aims to unlock new growth opportunities for Jazz through innovative ideas and solutions. As Expert Jazz Spark, you will play a pivotal role in to identify, assess and incubate new growth opportunities for Jazz. These growth opportunities may include a) amplifying/restructuring our current focus areas or verticals and/or b) delving into new growth areas.
The role reports directly to the Head of Verticals & Incubation and will be part of the Jazz Spark department. The Jazz Spark team is a 5-person team (including the line manager).
What does Expert Jazz Spark do?
- Understand and deliver on day-to-day Jazz Spark activities.
- You will be responsible for unlocking new revenue potential and expanding our market presence in alignment with the company’s strategic objectives.
- End-to-end coordination with various stakeholders of projects with the support of PMO team to ensure timely and accurate execution of the project.
- Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, potential areas for expansion, and competitive threats.
- Foster a culture of innovation within the organization by encouraging creative thinking, experimentation, and the pursuit of disruptive ideas.
Apart from the details mentioned above for the given role, responsibilities and deliverables will include the following:
- To provide visibility and tracking on specific criteria and KPIs such as top line growth, profitability, customers, organic or inorganic valuation play etc. to be agreed according to growth opportunity and strategic ambition of specific vertical.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, including but not limited to product development, marketing, sales, and finance, to ensure alignment and seamless execution of growth initiatives.
- Assess and mitigate risks associated with new ventures and initiatives, ensuring that potential challenges are identified and addressed proactively.
- Create compelling data driven presentations that helps drive decision making management, board, and steering committee levels.
- To familiarize and gain technical/ strategic know-how of different business industries and verticals that have strong synergies with Jazz

Requirements:
What are we looking for and what does it require to be Expert Jazz Spark?
- 3 to 4 years of experience in digital strategy roles (preferably in telecom/ technology industry)
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation and a willingness to take calculated risks
- Proven track record of success in driving strategic growth initiatives, preferably within the technology sector
- Well versed with Excel & Powerpoint
- Stakeholder Management
- Pressure Handling
- Analytical & Presentation Skills
