Job Title:
ERP Finance Consultant
Work with customers to understand their business requirements and conduct a gap analysis and then convert those requirements to functional specs and functional design documents. Ensure the configuration of D365/AX in different modules like Finance, Supply Chain, Retail or Warehouse, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out assessments of business operations, analyzing customer’s business needs, aims, and gaps in their current workflows across all user departments.
- Develop Test Cases and provide support during various testing cycles (such as User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression, and system testing) to facilitate the implementation of Power BI.
- Present live demonstrations of the product.
- Showcase expertise in the use of the Microsoft SureStep implementation methodology and Life Cycle Services, comprehending key tasks and deliverables for client engagement and internal projects.
- Collaborate closely with the project team and the customer to identify business and functional needs, by outlining, defining, and prioritizing these requirements.
- Align the functional requirements with the features and functionalities of Microsoft Dynamics 365/AX.
- Record business requirements in Functional Design Document (FDD) and/or Solution Design Document (SDD).
- Create and test comprehensive functional designs for business solution components and prototypes.
- Collaborate with the Solution Architect and Application Developers to translate new requirements into design and implementation.
- Modify and personalize the Microsoft Dynamics 365 application to fulfill the customer’s business requirements.
- Mentor junior functional consultants in process and functional design activities.
- Create training material and conduct sessions for business users.
- Guide the customer through the implementation lifecycle, maintaining close interaction with both the customer and the support team.
Requirements:
- BS/MS degree in disciplines i.e., Accounting & Finance/Supply Chain Management/Retail
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365/AX 2012 in any of the mentioned modules i.e., Finance/Supply Chain/Retail, Warehouse, or similar role.
- Hands-on working experience with Microsoft Lifecycle Services
- Must be well-versed in Waterfall and Agile Project Management methodologies.
- Microsoft Certification in Dynamics 365/AX will be an advantage.
