About The Role:
The Division Marketing Manager – Hospitality will be the main representative of the marketing division within the hospitality portfolio for the region. The role will be for the development and execution of the Hospitality marketing strategy including activations, initiatives across multiple touchpoints. You will ensure consistency and a strong voice through all internal and external channels, elevating the overall customer’s hospitality experience.
The Division Marketing Manager – Hospitality is the key relationship owner for our brands and is responsible for strategizing, conceptualizing, and delivering all brand led marketing campaigns. This role will also be accountable for supporting the various facets of the business for a seamless customer experience whilst achieving customer acquisition, retention, traffic and revenue goals. What You’ll Be Doing:
· Develop marketing strategies for each hospitality brand portfolio in alignment with commercial and product development department leads.
· Manage the daily functionality of:
o Social media.
o Creating and managing all key marketing briefs for internal and external activations.
o Monitoring social media trends, research customer markets and competitor’s activities to identify opportunities and key issues. Brainstorm new and innovative growth strategies for increased sales and customer acquisition.
o Championing established brand standards and expanding our share of voice through directed messaging.
o Working in partnership with key stakeholders to infuse brand voice and strategies into brand campaign plans, brand positioning and go-to-market strategies by creating motivating value propositions to get cross functional groups to “buy in” and ensure necessary alignment.
o Partnering with key stakeholders on development of refined brand action and engagement plan for our key stakeholders (employees, vendors & suppliers).
· Lead creative content and campaign execution across the different channels, stores and markets.
· Create in conjunction with the Customer Experience Director, analysis of brand positioning, new target customer markets and channels to increase market share and growth.
· Conceptualize and execute menu design creation for all restaurants, including design and product labeling in collaboration with key stakeholders.
· Build annual store marketing plans that guide budgeting requirements to deliver against traffic and revenue goals.
· Utilize past performance, consumer insights and competitive intelligence to ensure correct strategies are in place to deliver maximum return on marketing investment.
· Maintain a thorough understanding of relevant Principal requirements and guidelines, ensuring that all the respective brands within the BU apply and adhere to the guidelines across all managed marketing activities.
· Identify opportunities to enhance and build stronger brand equity for all brands represented.
· Work with CRM team to build relevant initiatives and analytics to support the brand strategy and business.
· Provide reports to BU / Principals on brand performance, marketing initiatives, customer mix, post event reports after each sponsorship/ display activity, etc as required and per contractual obligations.
· Understand and constantly evaluate the customer behavior to maximize channel performance and investment.
· Pursue innovative and creative marketing opportunities that push the boundaries and keep brands at the forefront of the market through the campaigns.
· Oversee a robust test and learn plan to improve messaging, creative, timing and overall productivity; partnering with analytics teams to present findings, analysis and recommendations to leadership.
· Provide leadership to the Marketing Executive – Hospitality, ensuring development plans are in place.
· Drive efficiency and quality, supporting the development of the team for a future proof structure.
About You:
Education/Certification and Continued Education
• Graduate or Post Graduate Degree, preferably in the field of Business, Marketing Management or Mass Communications
Years of Experience
• 7 to 10 of marketing experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role working with/for brand conscious organizations in a relevant hospitality field
Knowledge and Skills
• Conceptualization of campaigns to cover 360
• Experience within the F&B industry which encompasses cafes/ restaurants
• Digitally native retail experience is a plus
• Ability to offer a personalized approach defined by customer behavior
• Experience in the GCC is preferred
• Global perspective and international experience are highly beneficial
• Strong project management and inter-departmental coordination skills
• Ability to analyze and understand market trends and conduct competitor analysis, providing the foundation for marketing strategies and an enhanced customer experience
• Highly motivated, with the ability to thrive in a fluid and demanding environment
• Highly organized with the ability to multi-task and take ownership
• Strong relationship management skills
• Strong leadership and people management skills to ensure the right mentorship, recruitment, and direction for the marketing team
Languages
• Fluency in English is a pre-requisite
• Knowledge of Arabic is an advantage
Additional Requirements
• Should be able to communicate effectively and have excellent negotiation skills
• Good understanding of the industry
