Our client, Government Holdings Private Limited is seeking to induct qualified and experienced professional for Deputy Manager Legal.

Key Accountabilities:
- Handle and advise on litigation. Follow up on the court cases concerning GHPL, preparation of applications and written statements on behalf of GHPL.
- Liaison and follow up with the external litigation counsel on the court cases.
- Drafting, negotiating, structuring, interpreting and/or administering contractual documents concerning GHPL’s Goal and Objectives.
- Contribute to the business’ objectives through providing legal advice on the contractual relationships underpinning the Company’s business.
- Review and negotiate the joint venture contract agreements like Petroleum Concession Agreement (PCA), Joint Operating Agreement (JOA), Assignment Agreements and Production Sharing Agreement (PSA), in line with prevailing policies and rules.
- Reduce GHPL’s legal exposure through adopting pro-active approach, identifying the potential legal and corresponding risk mitigating strategies.
- Provide legal advice on issues arising within the GHPL. Legal advice to internal stakeholders on issues having legal implications.
- To attend TCM/OCM/MCM of Joint Ventures where GHPL is working interest partner.
- Undertake any other job assigned by the Head of Department.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Master’s degree in Law from HEC recognized local or foreign University
- Must have a valid License as Advocate High Court
Experience:
- 06 years of post-qualification relevant experience in multinational, public sector or large commercial organizations or law firms.
