Marc Ellis are working on behalf of a leading banking client and is looking for Senior Database Engineer. To be considered for this role you must have the below experience.
Job brief:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Database Engineer or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of database technologies such as SQL, Oracle, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
- Experience with database design, performance tuning, and optimization.
- Familiarity with database security practices and data protection regulations.
- Ensure database performance, security, and availability.
- Optimize database queries and troubleshoot performance issues.
- Implement and manage database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures
