Job Title:
Data Governance Manager
The Data Governance Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining data governance frameworks, policies, and processes to ensure data quality, integrity, and security. This role involves collaborating with various departments to establish data governance standards and practices, providing training, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement data governance frameworks, policies, and standards.
- Design and execute comprehensive data governance and privacy strategies and roadmaps.
- Establish data governance processes tailored to organizational needs.
- Ensure compliance with various data governance frameworks (e.g., NDMO, DAMA-DMBOK) and best practices.
- Develop and deliver data governance and privacy training programs.
- Conduct workshops and training sessions to enhance data governance awareness.
- Define and implement data governance and privacy operating models.
- Specify roles and responsibilities within the governance framework.
- Create compliance audit reports and monitoring frameworks.
- Define and track KPIs for data governance and privacy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of data governance solutions.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in data governance and privacy.
- Demonstrated success in developing and implementing data governance frameworks and policies.
- Extensive experience in creating and implementing data governance policies, guidelines, and frameworks.
- Proven ability to design and execute a comprehensive data governance and privacy strategy and roadmap.
- Proficient in developing and establishing data governance processes tailored to organizational needs.
- Deep understanding of various data governance frameworks (e.g., NDMO, DAMA-DMBOK) and best practices.
- Expertise in developing and delivering data governance and privacy training programs.
- Strong presentation and communication skills for conducting workshops and training sessions.
- Ability to define and implement data governance and privacy operating models.
