Position Summary
- Responsible for managing trade and brand marketing operations of CPW (Cereal Partners Worldwide) for Pakistan and for selected export markets including handling routine queries of importers, preparing / analyzing comprehensive reports on sales, stocks, demand forecast, competition activations etc. Continuously seek to improve aligned ways of working to drive efficient performance.
A day in the life of an CPW & Exports Associate
- Execution of the channel category plans at the POP/outlets as per the channel and category prioritization.
- Lead consumer promotion operations e.g. premium procurement, packaging conversion and coordination with creative agency to ensure delivery of artwork, campaign toolkits etc adhering to timelines.
- Data compilation and update on key activities including Point of Sale (promotions, pricing, market intel) and pre & post impact of activation promos.
- Prepare monthly distribution scorecard with assigned KPIs with the help of ground support and importers teams.
- Propose zone wise / SKU wise monthly operational plan on monthly basis. Coordinate with regional operations team to ensure smooth ordering. Manage within month upside / downside in coordination with regional sales teams as per projected monthly landing estimates.
- Handling routine queries of importers from selected markets (including setting up meeting calls, following up on orders, providing routine documentation to facilitate monthly sales)
- Maintaining clear and timely communication with internal teams, vendor, agency, and team to provide updates on promotions and activation.
What Will Make You Successful?
- Prior experience in exports related business development of a multinational organization with hands on expertise in analytics and stock management.
- Effective communication skills are crucial for coordinating with various stakeholders, including internal and external team members (within and outside Pakistan).
- The ability to identify and resolve issues or challenges that may arise during international shipping is essential.
- Prioritizing tasks, setting realistic timelines, and ensuring timely delivery are crucial for success in this role.
