Job Title:
Core Systems Lead, Financial Services – Riyadh – Full Time
You must be a Lead/Senior IT Applications Support Engineer working within Financial Services, who is eager for a new challenge with a leading Financial Services entity in Riyadh. You will be responsible for leading the implementations of solutions needed to issues reported, providing configuration, integration and data clearance on these solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the on-time execution of all activities necessary to enable the accurate integration of members; including but not limited to configuration, integration, data clearance.
- Lead the accurate, effective and timely installation and migration of applications to business product channels.
- Take ownership and reply to end-user reports for application issues and analyse the issue reported so as to identify the best way for resolution.
- Lead the accurate and effective execution of batches, upgrades and migration without impacting the operational efficiency of systems.
- Lead the implementation of solutions to issues identified, including the improvement of application, training of end users, upgrade of systems etc.
- Lead on training and technical support to product end users, in order to support the continuous and effective operation of business systems and applications to achieve adherence to pre-defined SLAs.
- Keep record of all issues reported and solutions provided in order to enable the identification of trends, and the development of solutions that will increase the efficiency of business applications.
- Take ownership of applications issues, fix integration issues, apply patches and troubleshooting.
Qualifications:
- 5-6 years of relevant experience in IT Applications Support within the financial services sector.
- Strong knowledge of financial services operations, products and services in KSA.
- Very good knowledge of the IT systems and applications used in financial services organizations in KSA.
- Good knowledge of programming languages such as SQL, java, .NET and Visual Basic
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
