Job Title:
Consultant Systems Admin
Systems/365 Administrator will be responsible for performing daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of hardware, server resources, systems, and key processes, and performing regular security monitoring.
Responsibilities:
Managing On-prem Active Directory, Exchange, DNS, DHCP, PKI Infrastructure
Administration for O365 (AAD, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive etc)
Implement and maintain security measures to protect O365 data and applications, including identity and access management, data loss prevention, and compliance policies
Assessing the stability, security, and scalability of installed Windows systems
Provide documentation and technical specifications to IT staff for planning and implementing new or upgrades of IT infrastructure
Evaluate and modify system’s performance & troubleshoot issues and outages
Upgrade systems with new releases and models
Assign configuration of authentication and authorization of directory services
Develop and maintain documentation, policies, and procedures related to Office 365 administration and usage
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in Windows Server Administration, with a proven track record of handling enterprise-level IT infrastructure
Excellent understanding of Active Directory, Office 365, Azure, Exchange, SharePoint, and PowerShell scripting
Good understanding of Firewall, VPN, and Cloud-based solutions
Ability to analyze and resolve problems associated with server hardware, operating systems, applications software, and network connectivity
Experience in implementing, managing and monitoring backup and disaster recovery processes, policies, and solutions
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, or a related field
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
Experience with virtualization and containerization technologies is a plus
Experience with cloud deployments such as Amazon Web Services or Azure is a plus
Microsoft certifications such as MCSE, MCSA or MCITP are a plus
