Job Title:

Consultant Microsoft Dynamics Functional

Functional Consultant transforms the in-depth experience and knowledge of Finance and Operations module of Microsoft Dynamics 365 to technical team and client by assessing the current business process and ensuring implementation of modern solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Play the key role in conducting sessions and workshops with customers for gathering data to create a conceptual design of application.
  • Conduct analysis of Business operations for Functional document design (FDD) to assist the end-to-end implementation of AX/D365 Finance & Operations module.
  • Ensure that functional design is understood clearly by technical team.
  • Perform the fit and gap analysis to differentiate between business processes and Dynamics AX/365 software application.
  • Engage proactively in pre-sales activities and take ownership. Also respond to RFP if requested.
  • Evaluate and analyze the business processes to identify opportunities to enhance the functionality of AX/365 application and improve the acceptance of change as well.
  • Create and implement innovative solutions for the processes which are not fully integrated by D365 application as per the customer requirement.
  • Conduct UATs and integrate business processes in F&O module of Dynamics AX/365 to ensure that system operates in the same manner as defined by customer.
  • Design and deliver the presentation to clients to discuss recommendations and to guide the ways of maximum utilization of new application.
  • Provide training for end users.
  • Maintain software application through configuration, integration, installation, customizations, creation of SSRS reports, modifications and extend support to end users through aiding post-sales services.
  • Utilize completely Microsoft Azure stack and Microsoft technology.
  • Manage team members and share experiences with them to enhance their learning and skills.

Requirements:

  • ACCA, BS (Finance), MBA Supply Chain or equivalent is preferred.
  • Advance level of expertise in Finance and Operations industry
  • 3 to 6 years of experience as a Dynamics AX/365 F &O Functional Consultant or similar role.
  • Experience in implementing minimum 2 or more Dynamics AX/365 Finance & Operations solution.
  • Experience of proactive engagement in presale’s activities, configuration, integration, data migration, gap and fit analysis, customizations, post-sales activities, and other ERP related functions.
  • Good understanding of Finance and Operations domain in Dynamics AX/365 including Finance and SCM module as well.
  • Hands on experience of using Azure DevOps to support the latest version control and migration of data from non-AX or AX version to latest D365 version of Finance and Operations.
  • Excellent communication skills are a must.
  • Microsoft certification exams or equivalent experience would be a plus.
