Our Client, Pakistan Reinsurance Company Limited (PRCL), invite applications from eligible individuals to serve as Chief Medical Officer on a contractual basis. Applicants should possess the following qualifications, experience, and meet the specified age limit:

Key Responsibilities:
The Chief Medical Officer will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following duties:
- To visit head office daily for 5 hours and scrutinize medical files, bills of panel hospitals etc.
- To check, verify and countersign the claims of employees and their families for medical reimbursements from PRCL;
- To attend patients for consultations as envisaged in PRCL HR Manual, and to issue reference letters and/or any other advice as contained under treatment clause of PRCL HR Manual;
- To carry out medical examination of all newly recruited employees;
- To refer patients to panel hospitals/approved specialists, as the case may be;
- To conduct random visits to employees or their families at panel hospitals where they are admitted and liaise with panel hospitals authorities for best possible treatment of the patient(s);
- To provide technical assistance to Administration Department of PRCL during the performance of their functions with regards to medical facility;
- To assist PRCL in implementing medical rules/regulations and policies for medical attendance;
- Any Other task assigned by Chief Executive Officer of PRCL or any authorized officer of PRCL.
Education:
- MBBS from recognized and well-reputed institute recognized by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan.
- MCPS Family Medicine or equivalent Foreign Qualification or Higher Qualification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine will be a plus.
Experience:
- Must have at least 4 years experience in healthcare administration of a corporate set-up, Company or hospital as on the last date of submission of application.
Terms and Conditions:
- The selection will be on basis of merit in accordance with the criteria prescribed in this advertisement.
- The interviewing committee will be the competent authority for finalizing the order of merit on basis of the performance of candidates in the interview.
- The appointment will be initially for two years; however extendable further as per need of company with mutual agreement of both parties and subject to approval of the competent authority.
- The selected candidate will be paid fixed amount per month as consultancy fee, to be mutually decided in Interview commensurate with relevant verifiable experience of the candidate.
- The selected candidate will report to the Chief Administration Officer, or any other officer authorized by CAO.
- The work may require travelling within or outside Pakistan however the same shall be strictly subject to prior approval by the CEO.
Age:
- Maximum 55 years of age on closing date of the applications.
