We are pleased to announce this incredibly exciting opportunity to be part of Qatar Airways Outstation Cargo Commercial Team as a Cargo Sales Manager in our office in Doha.

As a Cargo Sales Manager, you will manage the Direct Cargo Sales and Marketing Activities of Qatar Airways Cargo. You will also represent Qatar Airways Cargo in local sales related Cargo Community Events.

Your accountabilities will include:

·       Plan, direct and control all Selling and Marketing activities of the station and penetrate the Local Market to secure new sources of revenues.

·       Meet and/or exceed the set Cargo Revenue Targets

·       Assist Regional Cargo Manager in preparing and controlling the Revenue and Cost Budget

·       Prepare Business Marketing Plan in order to optimise revenue opportunities and maximise QR Presence in the market

·       Lead and implement e-initiatives in the market in line with our digitalization drive

·       Negotiate short, medium  and long term pricing initiatives 

·       Direct Sales Visits with Freight Forwarding community in local region

·       Research and report other airline practices 

·       Manage customer service data base for station customers

·       Ensure all agent / freight forwarder queries are answered and monitor customer complains

About you

  • Bachelor’s graduate or equivalent level
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant sales experience in the air freight industry.
  • Marketing and Sales background preferred, with commercial acumen and ability to spot market and industry trends.
  • Preferred knowledge of cargo operations. 
  • Strong Knowledge of cargo sales tools/reports and cargo pricing concepts
  • Good command of written and spoken English is a must. 
  • Knowledge of Arabic language is a plus
