National Textile University is a Federally Chartered Public Sector University imparting education in the field of textile for more than six (06) decades. The vision of the University is to be ranked among the best multi-disciplinary universities of the country with flagship textile programs of international standard and to become a center of excellence in textile education and research.

QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE:
- Applicants must be Professors (as per HEC Criteria) having a doctorate from an HEC-recognized reputed university, preferably in the field of Engineering, with a distinguished leadership profile in education, and professional and academic administration.
- Applicants must have industrial knowledge and exposure in the field of textiles and a holistic understanding of issues in higher education on national and international arenas.
- Applicants must have an understanding of the broad range of research, scholarship, and creative activities associated with a university, with the vision and knowledge to advance the functions of the University, including human resource development for leadership in society and economic growth.
AGE:
Applicants should not be more than 65 years of age on 25th September 2024.
TERM OF APPOINTMENT:
The Rector shall be appointed for a period of four (04) years and be entitled to the salary package of a Professor on the Tenure Track System. All other privileges and allowances as currently admissible to Rectors / Vice Chancellors of Public Sector universities of Pakistan will be applicable.
