The primary role of the incumbent will be to strategically source and acquire goods and services necessary for the organizations operations while ensuring cost efficiency, quality, and timely delivery.

Executive Procurement

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Analyzing and processing requests for procurement of goods and services.
Support drafting meticulous BoQs / RFQs for items & services for the purpose of ensuring that materials are in compliance with all procurement regulations.
Conducting market surveys to contribute the collected information required to perform job functions.
Processing requisitions into approved Purchase Orders n compliance with established guidelines.
Evaluate and select suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish performance metrics and service level agreements.
Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery, quality, and competitive pricing.
Focus on cost optimization by leveraging economies of scale, negotiating favorable terms, and implementing cost-saving initiatives.
Monitor and analyze spending patterns, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to reduce costs without compromising quality.
Resolving relevant queries from Pre-Audit & Internal Audit.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:

The incumbent should have bachelor’s degree in supply chain/Finance, Business Administration, or any relevant field from an HEC-recognized Institute/University with at least 3 years of working experience in relevant field.

KNOWLEDGE & COMPETENCIES:

Experience of working on ERP, ideally Microsoft Dynamics or latest.
Microsoft Operating System and Office Applications including strong Excel skills.
Strong knowledge and understanding of procurement rules including PPRA/SPPRA; Basic knowledge of business principles and processes and office norms.
Good knowledge of local markets in relevant areas.
