Job Purpose:

About The Role:

To support the adoption and compliance to best practice source to pay (S2P) process in line with the approved procedures manual, specifically focussed on user support of the source to contract process and use of epic solution. In addition to this, supporting as a back up the downstream process for P2P in Oracle EBS / ECC. This role will focus on user support for the procurement team, internal stakeholders and suppliers as required and will require training, advisory support and administrative support as required to streamline the operations and transformation across the category teams within Group Procurement

What you will do:

Generic

Support the configuration, testing and standardised adoption of the source to contract process within epic solution covering enhancements, patches and new releases, engaging with users and the third party provider as required to maximise efficiency, compliance and transparency across the end to end process
Provide administrative support across the source to contract process through updating master data and key header fields in line with agreed data standards
Suggest, formulate and document solutions to meet the individual department’s needs and ensure that proposed changes are in the overall interests of the business and future strategy of the epic system. Consider the impact on the numerous linked systems and ensure that these are allowed for. Escalate, through applicable business environment, functional issues and conflicts and make recommendations of potential solutions. Maintain a repository of documented business processes
Support and drive the adoption of standard S2P process through the delivery of training and communications across all users
Routinely analyse the business requirements and use of standard process to identify opportunities for process transformation to increase efficiency and compliance with escalation of any critical compliance issues that may be highlighted
Track and drive the resolution of any technical issues raised in relation to the S2P process in epic
Be on call 24 hours for support to ensure uninterrupted availability of the system and high quality services to the business community and ensure the BSG retains its role as the centre of excellence
Provide support to the Transformation Lead in defining best practices for the ned to end procurement process
Provide support and backup to the Business Support team in delivering support and guidance across all procurement procedures and systems

Qualifications & Experience:

This job might be for you if you have:

Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent)
5+ Years of experience in procurement, source to pay systems or similar

You’ll have an edge if you are:

In-depth and detailed knowledge of user/functional environment, RAPID/ Oracle ERP system, and/or another leading ERP package/systems related to different business areas, with Jaggaer system, and and/or another leading Source to Contract solutions
Ability to deal and interact with all levels of staff, from EVP down, either from the technical and/or user community and with system and process support and training in a friendly and persuasive manner.
Ability to understand different user group’s needs and translate those into workable solutions suitable to all user groups.
A good knowledge of IT environment including feeder systems.
In-depth and detailed knowledge of user/functional environment, Oracle ERP system, and/or another leading ERP package/systems related to different business areas.
