Job Description:
Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Testing incoming raw materials, finished product and water samples for microbiological parameters as well as chemical analysis of treated waste water and sludge.
2. Conducting Swab Tests for Food Contact Surfaces & workers hands as well as Environmental Air.
3. Testing the Physical, Chemical and Microbiological parameters of water used in the facility.
4. Conducting the internal shelf life studies.
5. Monitoring the “incoming raw materials as well as packing materials” and maintaining the OPRPs records of the same.
6. Training the staff about Personal Hygiene, Food Safety, GMP and Product Quality.
7. Planning and updating the Laboratory Manual as per Existing Local & International standards.
8. Coordinating and maintaining the KPIs in his/her section.
9. Exercising Good Laboratory Practices and also conducting Research & Development as & when required.
10. Arranging for the internal and external instruments calibration.
11. Keeping a track of all reagents and chemicals & ensuring that measures regarding chemicals security have been properly taken.
12. Ensuring the awareness about the Food Safety plan for the facility and coordinating with the Quality Assurance Manager/ Food Safety Incharge for proper implementation of Food Safety Plan.
13. Coordinating with the Purchasing Committee through correspondence to update the necessary documents (Guarantee Certificates/ Certificate of Analysis (COAs)) as per audit requirements.
14. Ensuring that necessary documents (Guarantee Certificates/ Certificate of Analysis (COAs)) have been updated regularly.
15. Ensuring the reliability of laboratory results & its Compliance to regulatory requirements by sending the products for external lab testing annually.
16. Arranging and submitting the samples to external accredited laboratory as per schedule and audit/ customer’s requirements.
17. Reporting any incidents of non-conformities directly to the Quality Assurance Manager/ Head of Department Laboratory.
Desired Candidate Profile:
3-5 Years of Experience
With Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree – Attested Certificates
