Pre Sales Engineer

Reports to: Product Manager

Newcom, a prominent IT distribution company, is currently seeking a Pre Sales Engineer who will assume a pivotal role as the primary technical authority for AV Technology. This individual will serve as a trusted advisor to both our sales team and clients during the pre-sales process, actively collaborating with them to gain insight into their technical requirements and challenges. As a Pre Sales Engineer, you will provide essential technical support and leadership in the implementation of our solutions, in addition to developing and delivering technical presentations and demonstrations.

The ideal candidate should possess a robust technical foundation in AV Technology and should have prior experience in pre-sales, solution architecture, or consulting. Furthermore, they should exhibit strategic thinking capabilities, enabling them to grasp the broader perspective and understand how our solutions seamlessly integrate.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for presales and post-sale activities for UCC – Voice and Video technology
Solution designing on A/V technology involving Logitech, Samsung, BenQ and Targus etc.
Conduct end customer POC and onsite demo equipment set up.
Partner enablement session – Remotely and in person.
Certification on video and voice technology in accordance with brand requirements
Partner workshop
Provide regular training to sales team to keep them updated with latest technology and new product launch.
Solution designing on Teams/Zoom with hands on experience.
Webinar on monthly basis for MEA region.
Maintain healthy relationship with existing Tier 2 partners.
Demo inventory management and allocation.
Work with marketing and logistics for event planning and execution.
