Job Description:
Job Summary:
This position is responsible to drive the development of analytical solutions that support our business goals working closely with senior executives and stakeholders to identify business opportunities and provide insights that support decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Engage with Business and IT stakeholders, understand business process / requirements and provide solutions.
Supervise a team of business analysts to create analytical solutions that align with business objectives.
Develop and implement strategies for data collection, analysis, and reporting
Expertise is modern business analytical solutions such as Ms. PowerBI, SAP BI/BW/BO, SAC Analytical Cloud, Azure Analytics etc.. tools for information artefacts including reports, documents, dashboards, and scorecards
Collaborate with each business unit to understand, capture and analyze business processes and information requirements and offer analytical solutions accordingly.
Prepare design document and process flow documentation; determine required data sources and element definitions; collect metadata; help determine and connect business rules; and facilitate business question development as well as draft reporting requirements.
Develop and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) that track business performance and inform strategic planning
Define the solution architecture, design and configuration/development of extractors, staging objects, cubes, views and queries.
Oversee the delivery of high-quality reports and presentations to senior executives and stakeholders.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in business analytics
Skills:
Technical Skills:
- BI Tools Proficiency: Expertise in BI tools and platforms such as Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, SAP Business Objects, etc.
- Data Warehousing: Understanding of data warehousing concepts and experience with databases like SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, etc.
- Data Modeling: Knowledge of data modeling techniques and best practices.
- ETL Processes: Experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools and processes.
- Programming Languages: Familiarity with programming/scripting languages like SQL, Python, R, etc., for data manipulation and analysis.
- Reporting and Analytics: Strong skills in reporting and analytics, with the ability to derive business insights from data.
- Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with cloud services like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform can be beneficial.
