Purpose:

We are looking to expand our expertise in our Commercial Sales Planning division to enable us for our future goals. We are recruiting for a Sales Data & Analytics Manager who will be responsible for building and growing the team of analytics professionals, building a strong analytics data driven culture, establishing strong experimentation, dashboarding and insights competencies – and via that deliver outstanding business outcomes. This individual should be an experienced leader with skills in leveraging multiple technologies for different projects. This role will also be responsible for management of key Data initiatives and programs using Agile methodologies.
Accountabilities:
• Responsible for developing analytics strategy, provide transparency of roadmap, and lead sprint planning.
• Lead end-to-end project management for data and analytics projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and control.
• Lead and mentor a team of data engineers, data analysts, and other project resources.
• Gather, analyze, and model data using analytical tools and techniques to develop business insights to drive decisions.
• Responsible for development of dynamic dashboards that provide insights and visualization into performance relative to KPIs, projections, and historical performance, Identify opportunities for new and existing business.
• Ability to work with large amounts of data and see the ‘bigger picture’.
• Ability to combine data, experimentation & analysis driven insights and deliver actionable recommendations that address opportunities for sales product improvements.
• Design, build and deploy self-serve reporting tool across sales division.
• Design complex algorithm and apply machine learning and statistical methods on large datasets for reporting, predictive and prescriptive modelling.
Education & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems)
• Minimum 6+ years of relevant work experience in Data & Analytics
• 3+ year experience in leading development teams and managing large scale data projects.
• Excellent visualization skills, storytelling, and familiarity with best practices to convey insights in an intuitive and visually compelling way.
• Strong understanding of Tableau’s LOD functions, data blending, relations, logical/physical joins, row-level security, Tableau extensions, and Tableau API exp. would be an added advantage.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL, R and / Or Python with methodologies used for advanced analytics.
• Ability to work with large data sets both structured and unstructured data.
• Analytical and data-focused thinking, demonstrating exceptional attention to detail.
• Expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
• Knowledge of commercial and sales analytics in aviation domain will be a plus.
