The opportunity:
Project: This is an opportunity to work on one of the largest programmes in Saudi Arabia. This unique project consists of major mixed-use development including sports facilities, entertainment, and arts along with all associated infrastructure. Mace is one of the delivery partners requiring high-caliber and experienced professionals to lead integrated teams throughout each phase of the project.
Your responsibilities will include:
Being responsible for the execution of the portfolio controls in their sub-functions, delivering outcomes in line with expectations of the portfolio s deliverables aligning activities to strategic organization objectives, operating targets, and profitability to help the project maximize return on investment.
Managing delegated project resources required to support the ongoing planning and execution of schedule management, interface management, earned value management, change management, risk management, interfaces, baseline management, document management, and reporting.
Managing resources and performance within allocated budgets.
Being responsible for the development and implementation of delegated processes and systems.
Assuring the operational governance across delivery and ensuring the interfaces with the organizations ways of working gateways.
Communicating and coordinating activities with all levels of the project business, program, and stakeholders on project control issues.
Upholding and maintaining company and project policies and procedures.
Participating in meetings and operational review meetings as the delegated controls and reporting representative.
Controlling and reporting senior leadership team, contributing to the ongoing development of the function and the creation of opportunities for efficiency/value enhancement associated with the delivery of solutions within a multi-program environment.
Implementing robust change management.
Supporting audits and associated corrective actions against implementation of controls and reporting process.
Capturing lessons learned for delegated areas of responsibilities, supporting other project team members in ongoing continual improvement of the organization.
Supporting the controlling and reporting team in the management of preparing reports, analyses providing trend insights, and other key communications aligned with the governance drumbeat.
Take ownership of specific performance management KPIs relevant to the role and ensure systems and processes are in place to monitor performance against them and as necessary implement remedial actions to maintain/exceed KPI targets.
