Job Description:
Roles & Responsibilities:
– Networking, LAN setup and implementation
– Networking equipment, routers, and hubs
– Firewall configuration and management
– Installation and Configurations of windows operating systems.
Configuring administering Windows server 2012 or higher
First level support for onshore and onboard users’ network and security. Maintain support cases register for office and vessels. Maintain support call logs for all support given to office and vessels over phone.
Assist Assistant IT Manager and IT Engineer in monitoring that computer systems security in the office and onboard
· Monitoring network traffic to ensure proper usage density. Manage and monitor Wi-Fi network regularly and update logs. Update firmware and manage HW life cycle.
Desired Candidate Profile:
– Bachelors in IT Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
– MCSA / MS Azure
– Virtualization VMware and Hyper-V
– Network Switch Management & troubleshooting
– Firewall Configuration and policy management
– Security Assessment and testing
– Good communication skills in a multi-cultural environment.
– Good knowledge of IT Service Management based on ITIL concepts.
– Remote support using Remote support tools.
