Career Guidance Specialist will guide, and support students interested in pursuing advanced academic and professional journeys. The person will be responsible for facilitating students for advance study options within the country and abroad. He/she will be able to provide one-on-one counselling with respect to opportunities available, application procedures, scholarships as well as job placement opportunities guiding them on their academic and career goals.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide individualized counselling to students interested in pursuing further studies, including masters degrees, doctoral programs, professional certifications, and research opportunities.
- Assess students academic background, career aspirations, and research interests to guide them in selecting suitable programs and institutions.
- Stay updated and keep a database on emerging trends in further education, admission requirements, and scholarship opportunities to provide accurate and up-to-date information to students.
- Maintain record of counselling and advisory hours including feedback and reporting.
- Support students in preparing application materials, such as statements of purpose, research proposals, resumes, and recommendation letters, ensuring they meet the requirements of the chosen programs.
- Provide guidance on standardized tests required for postgraduate admissions, such as GRE, GMAT, TOEFL, and IELTS, including test preparation strategies and resources.
- Coordinate with relevant institutions and organize workshops and informational sessions to educate students about the postgraduate application process, including timelines, documentation, and interview preparation.
- Support other departmental interventions for career guidance and counselling.
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field (e.g., Education, Counselling, Psychology or equivalent) and/or Masters degree or higher in a related field (preferred).
- Minimum 1-2 years of proven experience in postgraduate studies counselling or university admissions.

- Organizational and time management skills to handle multiple student cases and deadline
