Business Process Manager – Emirates SkyCargo
Job Purpose:
Manage and facilitate the development of express & courier business processes for Emirates SkyCargo operations through the continuous review of strategic and operational practices and processes to identify efficient, practical and productive ways of conducting business in line with business goals, including but not limited to service delivery, resource/equipment planning and allocation, system automation and business standards
JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Lead the development of express & courier business processes to reflect new working methods. Influence and interact with process owners, department heads and corporate functions for effective implementation of redesigned processes and make recommendations for long and/or short term benefits.
- Identify, streamline and lead system enhancements for operations: conceptualise, define, and propose system requirements for SkyCargo express & courier operations, ensuring maximum integration with existing and new systems and eliminating any duplication.
- Define and develop business requirements for technology and automation in collaboration with the express operations and systems team. Ensure that business requirements are analysed, challenged, understood and documented so that user requirements and defined solutions meet business needs based on functional fit, development time and cost.
- Conduct audits to ensure that identified changes have been effectively implemented. Ensure benefits from every improvement program are maximized and that all business improvement objectives are achieved in relation to qualitative and financial deliverables.
- Continuously monitor and update operational process changes due to people, commercial policy, handling agreement, policy, facilities, systems, or device changes. Coordinate and work with all internal/external stakeholders to ensure that everyone is well prepared to handle the changes and align business goals.
- Advise on productivity and process improvement opportunities provide operational and strategic business advice and influence operational departments to buy-in to the strategies. Amend current practices, processes or policies to achieve the identified cost savings and tangible results.

- Ensure alignment between process, work instruction, standard cargo handling procedure, and authority regulations. Educate and increase awareness among managers, supervisors, front line staff (Emirates and contracted staff) on the changing process, available tools, techniques and methodology of the ever changing cargo operations.
Qualifications & Experience:
Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) in either Industrial Engineering or Business Administration
Experience:
8+ years experience in operations, process engineering, relevant to the courier, express and supply chain industries.
Experience in Lean, six sigma, and other process mapping tools is preferred.
Knowledge/skills:
Project Management
Lead Lean transformation initiative.
Change management in large organization
Setting KPI and relevant operational targets
Good communicator
