Business Intelligence Analyst – Dubai, Full Time
You must be a BI Analyst, based in Dubai. As a Senior BI Analyst, you will focus on the development and optimization of intuitive dashboards and the generation of actionable insights and reports that guide strategic and operational improvements.
Having significant experience with SQL and Power BI is essential for this role, as you will be enhancing existing operational processes and decision-making through innovative data visualization and analysis techniques.
Responsibilities:
- Delivering crucial business insights through periodic analytics newsletters and detailed reports.
- Interpreting complex data and transforming it into actionable intelligence.
- Collaborating with department heads to support data-driven decision-making and respond to ad-hoc research, insights, and analytics requests.
- Responsible for the accuracy and effectiveness of dashboard and report creation.
- Initiating and leading projects that implement better tools and processes, engaging in data partnerships, and continuously improving existing data analytics processes.
- Ensure best practices in data analysis are applied, including the review and validation of dashboard designs and proper data models.
- Develop a deep understanding of business processes and objectives to align analytics efforts with the organization’s strategic goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that analytics solutions are user-friendly, intuitive, and meet the needs of stakeholders.
- Lead the development and implementation of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the progress towards strategic goals.
- Maintain a relentless focus on data quality and reliability to ensure that the insights and analytics provided are accurate and actionable.
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of proven experience in business intelligence, data analytics, and business insights, with a demonstrated ability in managing and optimizing business processes.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and Power BI is mandatory. Familiarity with other data analysis and visualization tools is beneficial.
- Experience in on-boarding new tools, processes, and data sets.
- Ability to think creatively and strategically, using insights to influence business decisions and drive organizational change.
- Business acumen with a deep understanding of how data analytics contributes to achieving organizational goals.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
Salary: up to AED 25,000 per month, dependent on experience
