Job Title:

Business Development Director – Technology Consulting – Riyadh – Full Time

Note: This role is part of our client’s Saudization efforts and candidates must be based in Riyadh to be considered for this position.

You must be a Business Development Director, experienced in closing technical Enterprise-level projects within the Public Sector in Saudi Arabia. You will be joining one of the leading and fastest-growing Technology Consultancies in Saudi Arabia and the GCC, who are a leading name in their market.

Reporting to the Senior Leadership Team, you will be responsible for driving growth and expansion by identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and developing strategic partnerships. You must have experience working within a Management/Technology consulting firm, working with Public Sector leaders to upsell technology products and project solutions that our client offers.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Identify target markets and segments for growth opportunities which align with business product and technical solutions offerings.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through various channels, including networking, referrals, and industry events.
  • Lead the end-to-end sales process, from prospecting to closing deals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
  • Develop strategic partnerships and alliances with other organisations and industry leaders.
  • Negotiate and finalise partnerships to expand service offerings and market reach.
  • Maintain and grow existing client relationships to ensure satisfaction, retention, and opportunities for upselling.
  • Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions to address their challenges.
  • Conduct regular client meetings and reviews to assess satisfaction and identify upselling opportunities.
  • Lead and mentor the business development team, providing guidance, support, and fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing team to develop and execute impactful marketing campaigns that enhance brand visibility.
  • Represent the firm at industry conferences, seminars, and networking events.
  • Prepare detailed reports on business development activities, sales performance, and market trends, leveraging data analytics for strategic insights and decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in Technology/Management Consulting, with a focus being on Business Development role.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets, selling into KSA Government/Public Sector entities.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners within the KSA Government sector.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and other business development tools.
  • Consistent track record of hitting or exceeding sales targets in a fast-paced environment.
  • High adaptability and understanding of change within the evolution of a startup.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, in both English and Arabic.

Salary: Competitive, plus variable commission component.
