Business Analyst (Onsite)
Role: Business Analyst
Location: Onsite Abu Dhabi
Duration: 9 months (Extendable)
Key Accountabilities:
- Define requirements and perform quality assurance to streamline all payment processing capabilities of the Bank into one central hub.
- Work as part of an Agile or Waterfall model to deliver high-quality business requirements and solutions for key stakeholders.
- Engage with SMEs, end users, and vendors to identify, document, and validate requirements based on user journeys and user stories for implementing payment systems in banks.
- Assist with the elaboration of user stories/requirements, supporting team members with their work where required.
- Produce test scenarios, scripts, and other UAT documentation; identify and extract custom data for use in testing.
- Execute UAT against previously defined and signed-off business requirements, user stories, or solution design.
- Collate and report all test results, and provide walkthroughs to stakeholders.
- Provide information to relevant parties to allow informed decisions to be made.
- Highlight key issues and problems relating to product sign-off once the testing phase is complete.
- Validate existing ‘to be’ processes as part of UAT execution, including revising and updating business processes according to business requirements.
- Analyze and interpret business requirements, eliciting further information from Business Analysts and Business Systems Analysts when necessary.
- Participate in and facilitate relevant Agile ceremonies and rituals: Backlog Refinement, Daily Stand-up, Iteration/Release Planning, Showcases/Sprint Review, and Retrospective.
- Provide subject matter expertise in specific functional areas for assigned Scrum team.
- Monitor and support post-production projects as part of BAU.
Requirements:
- Minimum 8 years of experience, with at least 4 years of expertise in the payments domain.
- Experience with Direct Debit System and Mandate Management System from both payer and beneficiary perspectives.
- Experience with E-mandate initiation/management in corporate banking channels and integration with Direct Debit System.
- Experience with corporate banking channels and workflows.
- In-depth knowledge of Transaction Banking products and channels.
- Previous experience in implementing overall payments in banks/financial institutions.
- Experience with SWIFT messages like MT1XX, MT2XX, MT9XX, and PACS, CAMT for MX as per ISO 20022.
- International market project experience.
- Experience with core applications like Intellect, T24, SWIFT is an additional benefit.
