Job Title:

AVP Delivery Lead

Job Summary:

The Delivery Lead is responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of projects and programs within the company’s portfolio. This role involves managing multiple projects, project teams, technical and functional experts, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget, and aligning with the strategic objectives of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Delivery Management:
    • Oversee the management of multiple regional accounts, projects and programs within the portfolio.
    • Ensure alignment of projects with the organization’s strategic goals and objectives.
    • Monitor portfolio performance and make recommendations for improvements.
  2. Team Leadership:
    • Lead and mentor a team of project teams and other delivery professionals.
    • Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
    • Provide guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery.
  3. Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Client communication, relationship building, escalation and situation management.
    • Engage with senior stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations.
    • Communicate delivery/ project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders in a timely manner.
    • Ensure stakeholder satisfaction and manage stakeholder expectations.
  4. Project Delivery:
    • Ensure that all projects within the delivery portfolio are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
    • Implement and maintain project management standards, processes, and tools.
    • Manage risks, issues, and dependencies across the portfolio.
  5. Financial Management:
    • Oversee the financial performance (P&L) of the portfolio, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
    • Ensure projects are delivered within the allocated budget.
    • Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  6. Quality Assurance:
    • Ensure that projects are delivered to the required quality standards.
    • Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Conduct regular project reviews and audits.

Qualifications:

  • Master/ Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification.
  • Minimum of 14-16 years of experience in project and delivery management.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing a team of large teams.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
  • Strong understanding of Miscrosoft D365 eco system (Customer Engagement, Retail, Finance & Operations, Power Platform, Azure Platform, Licensing structure)
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Flexible to travel

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience in retails, banking, telecommunication industries/
  • Knowledge of Agile and Lean methodologies.
  • Experience in delivering minimum 6 to 8 Microsoft D365 CE, Retail or ERP Projects in delivery lead role.
