Job Title:
Automation Test Engineer
QA Automation Engineer for this role writes scripts and creates automation environments for repeated tests. Using different automation tools; designs, tests, and deploys effective test automation solutions.
Responsibilities:
Write, design, and execute automated tests by creating scripts that run testing functions Automatically.
Maximize test coverage for the most critical features of the system.
Determine the priority for test scenarios and create execution plans to implement these Scenarios.
Write documentation for automated processes including test plans, test procedures, and test cases
Build test automation frameworks.
Log and document bugs in the tracking system.
Set up Continuous Integration.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
4+ years of experience as an Automation Engineer, specifically working with Selenium and Java technology.
Strong understanding of behavior-driven development (BDD) frameworks, such as Cucumber or J Behave.
Proficiency in writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code in Java.
Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, principles, and processes.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins).
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
