Faculty Title:
Assistant Manager – Testing Services
The incumbent will be responsible for managing the testing services provided to students and faculty. He/she will work closely with academic departments and faculty to coordinate and administer exams, assessments, and other testing services. Additionally, he/she will be responsible for ensuring that testing services are conducted with integrity and in compliance with institutional policies and procedures.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and implement testing services policies and procedures that ensure compliance with institutional policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with academic departments and faculty to coordinate and administer exams, assessments, and other testing services.
- Manage and train a team of testing services staff to ensure that they are providing high-quality testing services to students and faculty.
- Ensure that all testing services are conducted with integrity, and in compliance with institutional policies and procedures, including test security and confidentiality.
- Monitor and report on testing services usage, including test volume, success rates, and issues, and take corrective action as necessary.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of testing services industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
- Develop and manage testing services budgets, including staffing, equipment, and materials.
- Provide excellent customer service to students, faculty, and staff by responding to inquiries, providing guidance, and resolving issues related to testing services.
- Participate in institutional committees and task forces related to testing services.
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIE NCE:
- The incumbent shall have at least master’s degree preferably in a relevant field from an HEC recognized university/institute.
- At least 4 years of experience with preferably 3+ years of experience in testing services or a related field, with a minimum of 1 year in a leadership or management role.
KNOWLEDGE & COMPETENCIES:
- Strong knowledge of testing services policies and procedures, including test security and confidentiality.
- Demonstrated experience in managing testing services, including developing policies and procedures, administering exams and assessments, and training staff.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate with students, faculty, and staff.
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to respond to inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff to achieve their full potential.
