We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as an Assistant Manager – Liaison & Networking in the Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialization will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to enhance the visibility and impact of IBA ORIC strategic plan. The AM will focus on building and maintaining relationships with industry partners to promote awareness and create opportunities. The AM will focus to plan and manage the consultancy conference and other Networking events.

Assistant Manager ORIC – Liaison & Networking (Project Based)
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and execute outreach strategies to promote the IBA Design Thinking and other ORIC initiatives.
- Organize events, workshops, and seminars to showcase the ORIC capabilities and projects.
- Collaborate with faculty to highlight success stories.
- Plan, organize, and execute a consultancy conference to connect academia & industry.
- Coordinate with speakers, panelists, and sponsors to ensure the conference’s success.
- Promote the conference through various channels to attract a diverse audience and sponsorships
- Develop and maintain a network of industry contacts to promote IBA’s consultancy services.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for consultancy assignments for faculty.
- Organize and participate in meetings, presentations, and networking events to engage with potential clients and partners.
- Develop promotional materials and communication strategies to support outreach efforts.
- Work closely with faculty and researchers to understand their consultancy expertise and promote their services.
- Assist in the development of proposals and presentations for consultancy assignments & bringing sponsorships.
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 16 years of education in Engineering/Social Sciences/Management
- At least 3 years’ experience
- Familiarity with the academic and industrial landscape in the context of Faculty and Industry engagement.
- Experience of arranging an international conference & bringing sponsors
- Understanding of Technology & business in the context of faculty consultancy
KNOWLEDGE & COMPETENCIES:
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
- Good command of MS Office suite
- Proficiency in managing international conferences.
