The pioneering overseas set up of China Mobile came through acquisition of a license from Millicom to operate a GSM network in Pakistan. Taken over in 2007 with a market share of only 2%, Zong has seen exponential growth in the last few years to increase it by 10 folds to about 20%. Currently, CMPak engages in the provision of cellular mobile voice and data services to the Pakistani market through 2G, 3G and 4G technologies.

Assistant Manager Media Planning
Job Purpose:
AM Media will be responsible for all aspects of ad campaign management pertaining to but not limited to devising and implementing media strategy, developing and amplification of media plans (TV, Radio, Print, etc), operational excellence of media plans, Media budget and financial management, supervision on efficiency of targets, managing internal and external stakeholders, reporting etc. The job owner will be responsible to manage and optimize financial processes related to media buying expenses, billing, and audit support and will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial aspects of media campaigns, ensuring accurate, timely billing, and coordinating with media agencies.
Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for end-to-end media campaigns management that includes but not limited to media campaigns planning, execution, optimization, reporting & billing.
Play a pivoted role in conducting media expenses audits, reconciling media accounts, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, streamline communication and coordination for seamless execution of media investments, contributing to the overall success of media initiatives.
Facilitate accurate and timely billing processes related to media expenditures. Reconcile financial transactions with media partners to maintain financial accuracy.
Maintain Billing, EPD and BD record and ensure utilization stipulated in the contracts.
Oversee and manage budgets for (ATL) media campaigns. Ensure effective allocation and utilization of funds for optimal campaign performance.
Leading the contracts for new media partners, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and financial guidelines. Collaborate with legal teams to negotiate favorable terms and conditions.
Coordinate with the procurement department for the timely issuance of Purchase Orders (POs) to support media initiatives.
Liaise with internal teams to gather information and insights for effective financial decision-making. · Collaborate with Marketing Finance for timely processing Purchase Requisition (PR), PO issuance, and budget alignment.
Work closely with monitoring and tracking agencies to evaluate campaign performance and report accordingly for decision making.
Assist in ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements related to media finance.
Provide support in conducting media audits, ensuring financial transparency and adherence to audit requirements.
Dealing with Tax matters related to Media buying along with internally and externally.
Support in gathering compliance related tax issue with CMPak tax team and media partners.
Others:
Vendor Management and contracts handling. Strong control on issues related to Marketing finance, Taxation, procurement and Payables.
Ability to create reporting dashboards for all the weekly, monthly reports as per management requirements
Eligibility Criteria (Education, Knowledge, Experience and Skills):
Education:
Masters of Business Administration OR Possess a BBA/MBA in either Marketing, Finance
Work Experience:
Up to 10-12 Years of relevant experience Business Analysis, Data Analytics and Reporting Experience of working in ERP system will be added bonus and shall be preferred
