Job Title:
Assistant Engineer – Lab Testing
Purpose:
The position is responsible for conducting site surveys and validate desktop proposals. The position provides on-ground support to line for preparation of pragmatic and effective proposals
Education:
Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) / B,Tech Electrical Electronics, 1-2 yrs of relevant experience.
Knowledge:
- Distribution Network know how
- Energy Meters
- Basic Electrical network equipment and parameters
Experience:
1-2- yrs of relevant experience.

Area of Responsibilities:
- Capable to perform testing of energy meters in the Laboratory (smart and non-smart meters) according to IEC standard.
- Perform site survey and conduct testing through portable equipment.
- After testing, prepare test results for each meter on prescribed formats.
- Individually maintain the daily report of testing meters on MS Excel.
- Must contain basic knowledge on lab management standards ISO 9001 and 17025.
- Good knowledge of Electronics and basic knowledge on business communication is added advantage.
