A Day in the Life of an Assistant Boutique Manager:
Manages Operations:
- Ensure retail operations procedures and best practices are being adhered to such as stock management & payment management.
- Adhere to the Nestle Safety health and environmental and food safety policy and procedures.
- Promote a safety & quality conscious culture within the boutique.
- Supports investigation of incidents, injuries or illnesses and concerns/complaints.
- Ensure completion of all required records (E.g., Stock room temperature readings)
- Lead the implementation of an emergency action plan.
- Responsible for corrective and preventative actions when assigned by boutique Manager.
Drives Sales & profitability:
- Support boutique manager in the evaluation of store performance weekly, monthly and YTD results.
- Supports the team to achieve weekly, monthly yearly targets and KPIs.
- Supports Boutique Manager into allocating roles with the team to properly drive sales throughout the day to meet goals, as well as to properly manage store’s operations.
- Supports Boutique Manager to deliver outstanding Customer Experience
- Acts as an enthusiastic ambassador for Nespresso.
- Ensures Visual Merchandising programs are executed, and all stores adhere to Nespresso standards for merchandising and product presentation.
- Always ensures appropriate representation of the Nespresso brand..
People Management:
- Ensures timely execution of company procedures for new hires, on boarding, PDP, etc.
- Supports the training and provides ongoing feedback and coaching, E.g on selling skills and operational standards.
- In collaboration with Boutique Manager and Human Resources, provides advice and counsel to Managers regarding personnel practices, policy, and employment laws.
What will make you successful…
Previous experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of extensive professional experience in retail required.
- Minimum 1 years of supervisory experience in people management & development is a must
- Experience in customer relationship management
- Experience in retail project management processes and change management
