Motorsports – Account Director
Reporting to: General Manager
The Role:
The Account Director oversees client engagements in motorsports, ensuring satisfaction, service quality, and timely project completion. Responsibilities include client relationship management, strategic planning, team leadership, sponsorship activation, budget management, business development, and industry knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management: Main point of contact, understanding client objectives, and providing strategic guidance.
- Account Management: Develop and execute motorsports marketing strategies, coordinate multiple projects, and monitor campaign performance.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new opportunities within the motorsports industry.
- Team Leadership: Manage a team, delegate tasks, and ensure a high-performance work environment.
- Sponsorship Activation: Oversee the activation of motorsports sponsorships, collaborating with internal teams.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets for motorsports marketing initiatives, ensuring financial alignment.
- Industry Knowledge: Stay updated on motorsports industry trends, regulations, and opportunities.
- Contract Negotiation: Collaborate on contract negotiations related to motorsports sponsorships and partnerships.
Skills & Experience:
- 7 – 10 years of Advertising Account/Client Management experience.
- Strong strategic thinking and web strategy implementation.
- Extensive knowledge of the motorsports industry.
- Leadership skills, team management, and coaching experience.
- Proficient in project management concepts and methodologies.
- Excellent collaboration, influencing, and negotiation skills.
